LRP6 Is a Functional Receptor for Attenuated Canine Distemper Virus09.03.2023In collaboration with Sven Rottenberg's lab (University of Bern), using a genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 knockout screen, we discovered LRP6 as a functional receptor for the CDV Onderstepoort attenuated strain.
Structure and supramolecular organization of the canine distemper virus attachment glycoprotein09.03.2023In collaboration with Dimitrios Fotiadis' lab (University of Bern) and Rainer Riedl's lab (ZHAW), we determined the cryo-EM structure of the CDV H-ectodomain, thereby representing a new blueprint for the structure-based design of next-generation antiviral drugs and vaccine candidates.
