Die Neuropathologie (verantwortlich: Anna Oevermann) ist ein fester Bestandteil der Abteilung Neurologische Wissenschaften und leistet Diagnostik von neurologischen Erkrankungen bei Tieren. Zudem bietet sie neuropathologische Expertise für Forschungsprojekt innerhalb und ausserhalb der Vetsuisse Fakultät und Training in Neuropathologie an. Das neuropathologische Training ist Bestandteil der Ausbildung von Studierenden, Residents, von nationalen und internationalen Weiterbildungen.

Die neuropathologische Diagnostik beinhaltet die makroskopische, histologische und immunhistochemische Untersuchung des zentralnervösen Systems (ZNS) von Tieren mit neurologischen Erkrankungen. Unser neuropathologisches Archiv beinhaltet zehntausende von neuropathologischen Fällen.

The neuropathology (responsible: Anna Oevermann) is an integral part of the Division of Neurological Sciences and contributes to neuropathology training, diagnostic and research of neurological diseases in animals by describing neurological diseases in animals and providing neuropathology support for research projects within and outside of the Vetsuisse Faculty.

The neuropathology training includes undergraduate and postgraduate teaching on the national and international level.

The diagnostic service comprises the macroscopical and histopathological examination of central nervous system (CNS) samples from animals with neurological disorders. Diagnostic workup includes standard staining techniques and immunohistochemistry. Currently, our archive contains paraffin embedded CNS tissues of several ten thousand neuropathology cases.

La neuropathlogie (responsable: Anna Oevermann) fait partie intégrante de la Division des Sciences Neurologiques et propose un service de diagnostique pour les animaux atteints de maladies neurologiques. De plus elle offre une expertise neuropathologique pour les projets de recherche internes ou externes à la Faculté Vetsuisse ainsi qu'une formation en neuropathologie. Cette pratique de la neuropathologie s'intègre dans le cursus des étudiants, des résidants et dans le cadre de formations continues nationales et internationales.

Le diagnostique neuropathologique comprend l'examen macroscopique, histologique et immunohistochimique du système nerveux centrale d'animaux montrant des troubles neurologiques. Nos archives de neuropathologie contiennent plus de dix mille cas.
